Tournament Info

The GPOR Open Season is a tournament based on the racing game Turbosliders

This classification, called "GPO Old-Style", makes possible a 24 / 7 competition.
Depending on your placement in the race and the number of players , you earn points.

Rough Driving isn't allowed, no push, no block, backward driving etc... administrators can ban without warnings all stupid players!

Race Classification
Each race give points with a  "bonus/malus" logic calculated as follows:
after the race, the first classificated gets an amount of points equal to the players divided by two (rounded down). The others get 1 pont less according to its position until the last classificated, who will earn  a negative amount of points equal to the points earned by the first classificated

E.g.:
with 6 players
1º +3
2º +2
3º +1
4º -1
5º -2
6º -3

with 5 players
1º +2
2º +1
3º 0
4º -1
5º -2

General classification
Depending on the final place of each track classification, players earn an amount of points assigned as follows:
100  points to the first classificated
99    points to the second classificated
98    points to the third classificated
97    points to the forth classificated
96    points to the fifth classificated
95    points to the sixth classificated
94    points to the seventh classificated
93    points to the eighth
...
1    point to the 100th

For example, if you end the classification of Bahrain in third position and fifth at Hockenheim, you will earn 194(=98+96) in the general classification.

Classification update: once or twice per day.
If two players end with the same amount of points will be considerated:
1)number of victories
2)number of podiums
3)number of partecipations to the races

The championship has an estabilished duration, communicated before the championship begins. Usually it lasts some weeks.
